Senior Accountant

Our Client is an established advisory firm committed to quality service, collaboration, innovation and professional growth in their expanding South West Sydney practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled accountant to join a growing office, manage a diverse portfolio of clients autonomously and contribute to team expansion in a modern environment. Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for corporate and trust entities Delivery of tax planning, advisory services, BAS, payroll tax and workers compensation declarations Management of client compliance, ATO liaison and related authorities Utilisation of Xero and tax platforms for efficient service delivery Mentoring and support for junior staff as the office grows

The ideal candidate will be an experienced accounting professional from a public practice background, ready to take ownership of client work and thrive in a collaborative, growth-oriented setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• CA or
• CPA qualified or actively working towards
• Minimum
• 3-5 years’ experience in business services and compliance
• Demonstrated proficiency with Xero and tax compliance tools
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage deadlines and priorities
• Excellent communication and ability to work autonomously or in a team SMSF experience is preferred but not essential
