Investment Analyst — Osaka

Our client is a professional investment firm based in Osaka. The platform pursues research driven opportunities across public and private markets, including equities, real estate, and related strategies, with a focus on disciplined capital growth.

As Investment Analyst you will support senior investors with rigorous research, analysis, and diligence that informs live investment decisions.

• Conduct market, industry, and company research to surface investment themes
• Build and maintain financial models, valuations, and sensitivity analysis
• Prepare investment proposals, presentations, and performance packs
• Gather and interpret financial, macroeconomic, and sector data
• Support due diligence on equity and related transactions
• Monitor portfolio performance and report findings to senior management
• Work closely with portfolio managers and external advisors
• Uphold internal policies, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements

You are analytically sharp, commercially curious, and comfortable operating in a bilingual investment environment.

• Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Around 1 to 3 years in investment analysis, equity research, or financial advisory (exceptional graduates considered)
• Strong grasp of financial statements, valuation, and investment principles
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar tools preferred
• Excellent written and spoken English; Japanese language ability is a plus
• High attention to detail with capacity to manage multiple priorities
