Investment Manager — Osaka

Our client is an Osaka based investment firm managing capital across equities, real estate, private equity, and venture opportunities. The culture is research led, commercially sharp, and focused on compounding returns with disciplined risk management.

As Investment Manager you will identify, evaluate, and manage investment opportunities across the full deal cycle, from sourcing through monitoring.

• Research markets, industries, and companies to originate opportunities
• Complete financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis
• Prepare investment proposals and Investment Committee materials
• Drive evaluation, negotiation support, execution, and post investment monitoring
• Coordinate legal, tax, and external advisers through diligence and structuring
• Track portfolio performance and recommend risk or value creation actions
• Contribute to overall investment strategy and asset allocation thinking
• Engage institutional partners, banks, and co investors where appropriate

You are a commercially minded investor with strong judgment, bilingual capability, and experience taking deals from idea to outcome.

• Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; postgraduate study preferred
• Around 3 to 5 years in investment, M and A, asset management, or consulting
• Proven financial analysis, valuation, and deal structuring experience
• Advantageous experience across real estate, private equity, or venture investing
• Advanced Excel modelling and presentation skills; Bloomberg or Capital IQ familiarity preferred
• Japanese at business level (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and professional English (TOEIC 800+ preferred)
• CFA or equivalent credentials advantageous
